Great news: season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty will be released in the summer of 2025, coming back with 11 episodes, which is 3 extra episodes to binge and will be available on Prime Video.

Filming began in May 2024; however, the production was delayed due to industry strikes. Season 3 is expected to be the third and final season of the show since its adaptation is based on the trilogy’s final book by Jenny Han, We’ll Always Have Summer.

Rumours

Season 3 of the show is expected to be the last and final season as it’s based on the last book of the trilogy of We’ll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han. There have been rumours of possible spin-offs. There’s no confirmation yet, but Vernon Sanders, an Amazon executive, has said that they are “thrilled about a season 3, and she’s got a vision for more.”

As well as, Amazon is “already hard at work developing complementary pieces”.

The show won the 2024 People’s Choice Award, USA for The Bingeworthy Show of the Year and with a strong season, 3 could be nominated for more. The only question left is whether you are on team Conrad or team Jeremiah.
