‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ Sets China Spring Theatrical Release

Lionsgate‘s John Wick: Chapter 4 is finally getting a China release on March 14, 2025. Huahua Media will distribute in the Middle Kingdom.

The 2023 Chad Stahelski directed action movie posted the highest domestic opening in the franchise with $73.8M, and at $440M worldwide and $187M U.S./Canada, it’s the highest grossing installment in the Keanu Reeves series.

In John Wick: Chapter 4, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.

The Thunder Road Films/87eleven Entertainment production also stars Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Ian McShane and the late Lance Reddick. The movie is written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, based on characters created by Derek Kolstad, and produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Stahelski.

Upcoming this summer on June 6, 2025 is the John Wick spinoff The Ballerina starring Ana de Armas and directed by Len Wiseman.
