Listen to Lestats Music in TALAMASCA: THE SECRET ORDER


GMA revealed the cover of Summer State of Mind, the latest from Kristy Woodson Harvey, best-selling author of the Peachtree Bluff series. The contemporary fiction novel is “about a community that comes together in unexpected ways.” Summer State of Mind is out from Gallery Books on May 5, 2026.

If you’re familiar with Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, then you know Lestat de Lioncourt becomes a rock star in The Vampire Lestat. With AMC’s Interview with the Vampire rebranding itself as The Vampire Lestat for the new season, fans can look forward to Lestat (Sam Reid)’s rockstar debut. But they won’t have to wait for the new season to get a first listen to his songs. Lestat’s music will be heard first in the fifth episode of Talamasca: The Secret Order. The first episode debuted at the end of November, and the fifth episode is scheduled to be released on November 16.

If you’re a fan of Our Wives Under the Sea and Ready or Not, check out this upcoming horror novel from Hannah F. Whitten. Reliquary is Whitten’s debut horror novel, even though she’s been a fan of the genre for years. “I’m so thrilled to get to write in the genre I’ve loved so much,” Whitten told People, “and to talk about how terrifying I find both the deep ocean and billionaires.” Reliquary is available for preorder now and will be out on August 11, 2026.

Stephen Gaghan, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter, is creating a contemporary adaptation of The Great Gatsby, entitled Valley of Ashes. While many details about the project are still under wraps, we do know that the adaptation will be set in San Francisco and likely revolves around Silicon Valley. Gaghan will direct from his own script, and Jennifer Fox (Syriana) will produce.
