The psychological thriller follows a disgraced journalist seeking redemption through what may be her final assignment: an interview with Shy, a condemned revolutionary awaiting execution. As their conversation unfolds, the interview becomes a battle of ideals forcing the journalist to confront her own beliefs about truth, justice, and complicity, while Shy clings to her principles and her art in the face of death.

The film stars Catherine Parish (Totem Chaser) as the fallen journalist, and Soft Abilez (Dexter: Resurrection) as Shy, the imprisoned revolutionary. Supporting performances include Rew Starr (After School) as a hardened publisher, Brady Moldrup as a conflicted detective, and Arielle Hope (Theresa and Allison), Tony Wolf (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Mimsey Mack, Evan Slack, and Isaiah “Zay” Palumbo.

Written, produced, and directed by Tsouris, Condemned Dreams follows his cult horror debut Totem Chaser, shifting from supernatural terror to a slow-burn exploration of ideological violence. Drawing inspiration from Platonic dialogues, the film grapples with themes of capital punishment, gender, identity, and the role of art as resistance in a society that punishes dissent.

Condemned Dreams is now available to stream on Tubi.
