BURBANK, CA –FEB. 9, 2025 –Warner Bros. Studio TourHollywoodtoday announced a new exhibit highlighting “SINNERS,” the acclaimed Warner Bros. Pictures film from Academy Award®-nominated director/writer/producer Ryan Coogler andProximity Media. The new exhibit, which opens the Studio Tour’s “Stage 48: Script to Screen” section, runs through March 31, 2026.Opening during Black History Month, the new “SINNERS” exhibit features an elaborate collection of authentic, extraordinary piecesrepresentingthe film’s Academy Award® nominationsin categories including Costume Design, Production Design, Prosthetics,Hairand Makeup Design and more.
In addition to costumes for “Smoke,” “Stack,” and “Sammie Moore,” the “SINNERS” display now includes costumes for “Annie,” “Pearline,” “Delta Slim,” “Cornbread, and “Mary.” Guests can also step into the world ofClub JukeandClarksvillewith an up-close look at more pieces used in the film, including set elements, original props and prosthetics that brought the film’swholly originalstorytelling to life.
With a record-setting 16 Academy Award® nominations, written, directed and produced by Ryan Coogler,p.g.a., and produced by Zinzi Coogler,p.g.a., and Sev Ohanian,p.g.a.SINNERS is a virtuosic and wholly original exploration of Black culture and the Blues music that is unique to it through the lens of a Southern Gothic thriller. Set in 1932 Mississippi, Michael B. Jordan stars as twin brothers Smoke and Stack, who, after chasing success in the North, return to Clarksdale, MS to open a juke joint and revive the soul and spirit of their hometown. As music and dance meld in celebration of artistry, culture and history, an evil descends, threatening to devour the fabric and heart of the community – and all that Smoke and Stack have worked to achieve.
