Whats New on BritBox in July 2026


British TV lovers, there are few streamers more dedicated to your tastes than BritBox. Part of BBC Studios, the streaming service is comprised of imports from the United Kingdom, from period pieces to modern mysteries and more. The Other Bennet Sister just wrapped its first season in June and will return later this year for a three-part Christmas special.

New TV Shows on BritBox in July 2026

July 10:Escape to the CountrySeason 27

The long-running British reality TV show returns on July 10. It airs on BBC One in the U.K. It’s a home improvement series set in the countryside.

Here’s the series description: “Need an idyllic rural retreat? Tempted to quit the rat race for the peace of the countryside? Join country living experts as they offer advice on buying, selling, and moving, helping people achieve their dream of finding the ideal property.”

July 14:Return to ParadiseSeason 2

Detective Inspector Mackenzie Clarke (Anna Samson) reluctantly returns to her Australian hometown after leaving her fiancé, only to be pulled into a case testing her tenacity until the culprit is apprehended.

July 23:GoneSeason 1

Headmaster Michael Polly (David Morrissey) becomes the prime suspect in his wife Sarah’s disappearance, drawing him into a tense game of cat and mouse with Detective Annie Cassidy (Eve Myles) as she fights to uncover the truth.

July 29:A Woman of SubstanceSeason 1

In 1910s Yorkshire, Emma Harte (Jessica Reynolds) is an ambitious maid with big dreams — and a bigger forbidden romance. First love, then betrayal. Decades later, Emma (now Brenda Blethyn) is now a tycoon in New York with a new score to settle.

A Woman of Substance debuted on BritBox with two episodes on June 24. New episodes come out once a week on Wednesdays, with Episode 7 set to come out on July 29 and the Season 1 finale on August 5.
