During a pre-season interview with People, Bills, who joined the DWTS troupe last season, revealed, “I was actually in the middle of my tour for Dancing With the Stars in April, and [executive producer] Deena Katz just pulled me aside and asked me if I’d be willing to dance with a female, and I was like, ‘Double whammy.’ And of course, obviously I’m down to dance with a female.”

How is Hailey Bills related to Jenna Johnson?
Bills is the daughter of Jenna Johnson‘s older sister, Stacey Bills. The new DWTS pro dancer is Johnson’s niece.
As her aunt, Johnson served as Bills’ mentor on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors, when Bills danced with Tripp Johnston, Sarah Palin‘s grandson. Similar to Johnson, Bills was raised as a member of The Church of Latter-day Saints.
