Movie Review: Models vs Werewolves (2026)

MODELS VS. WEREWOLVES (2026) – Blu-ray Review by Matt Boiselle

Well, Models vs. Werewolves is certainly an interesting little addition to the Full Moon library. Taking a group of glamorous, self-absorbed social media influencers and throwing them into the middle of werewolf territory sounds like a recipe for some ridiculous horror fun, and that’s pretty much what you get.

The premise is entertaining enough, and there’s a certain charm to the whole low-budget creature-feature approach. The combination of campy humor, werewolf mayhem, and jabs at influencer culture gives the movie a little personality. Unfortunately, it never quite manages to rise above being an average horror-comedy experience.

At just over 74 minutes, it doesn’t overstay its welcome, and having genre veteran Dee Wallace make an appearance is certainly a nice touch. There’s some fun to be had here, but don’t go expecting anything particularly groundbreaking or a future werewolf classic.

As for the Blu-ray, Full Moon gives collectors a nice assortment of extras, including a director’s commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, the original trailer, and a cast screening introduction from Charles Band.

THE VERDICT: Not bad, not great, just an entertaining enough little horror diversion. Werewolf fans and Full Moon collectors might find something to enjoy, but this one probably won’t be howling its way into anybody’s list of favorites.
