PlayStation Exclusive ‘Days Gone’ is Heading to PC This Spring

PlayStation is continuing with its relatively new practice of bringing its exclusives to PC, and the next is the post-apocalyptic open world zombie epic Days Gone.

In the same interview where PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan discussed the next generation of PlayStation VR, he reiterated the company’s desire to bringing select first-party titles to PC, and confirmed the next game to make the jump would be Days Gone this Spring.

Days Gone came out in 2019 on PS4, and ended up being a divisive title. The game concerned a former biker gang member surviving in a post-apocalyptic world where hordes of fast-paced infected roam the countryside. It received criticism for its technical faults and antiquated gameplay, but it also won many fans for its interesting characters, story, and impressive zombie hordes.

I reviewed the game for Bloody Disgusting and was somewhat disappointed in many aspects of it, but still found it enjoyable, if a little long. It’s a game that was massively improved on PS5 thanks to a performance patch though, so it’ll be interesting to see how it turns out on PC.
