Quiver Distributions Southern Gothic Thriller DOWN RIVER Drops Trailer Before December Release

Quiver Distribution has picked up North American rights toDown River, an intense Southern Gothic inspired thriller best described asWinter’s BonemeetsShotgun Stories.

Directed byBrian BarnardandTommy Walton, written byRandy McDowellandJody Thompson, the lead cast includesJody Thompson, Randy McDowell, Ashley Sutton, Bethany Anne Lind, Lori Beth Sikes, andMark Ashworth.

InDown River, a small-town sheriff and his deputy are drawn to an abandoned farmhouse deep in the coal-mining mountains of southern West Virginia to investigate a crime. But as they dig deeper, buried secrets and fragmented clues threaten to tear the town and the sheriff’s sanity apart.

Produced by Brian Barnard, Randy McDowell,Stelio Savante, Jody Thompson, and Tommy Walton, Down River is presented by Fuel Films Company in association with 77 Entertainment, Oak Fish, and Stroop Fik Entertainment. The thriller lands on digital and on Demand on December 9, 2025.
