Running over 4-hours long each, the horror documentaries In Search of Darkness: A Journey into Iconic ’80s Horror and In Search of Darkness: Part II are now streaming on Shudder, and we’ve learned from the team this week that In Search of Darkness: Part III is coming soon!
“In Search of Darkness: Part III is in development and we want to know what you want to see!” the team tweeted the other day. “Tell us in the comments what movies and topics you want featured in Part III and let us know who you want to see interviewed.”
It sounds like new talent will indeed be brought into the fold for Part III, which will explore even more 1980s horror gems along with insights from prominent actors and creators. The documentaries feature clips from 1980s classics as well as under-seen gems, highlighting the practical effects and wild ideas that made the decade such a blast for horror fans.
