Ahead of six brand new episodes of “Unsolved Mysteries” coming to Netflix on October 19, we’ve learned today that hosts Patrick Hinds and Gillian Pensavalle and their true crime podcast True Crime Obsessed are taking on the renowned “Unsolved Mysteries” franchise with a new, weekly spinoff podcast beginni
The new 12-episode series, part of True Crime Obsessed, will launch on Thursday, October 8th and will run through December 24th with a new episode premiering every Thursday.
True Crime Obsessed will continue their ongoing weekly episodes covering the best of the best in true crime documentaries, with the 12 bonus “Unsolved Mysteries” themed episodes rolling out simultaneously. Episodes, which tackle old and new episodes of the Netflix reboot, will be released in the same order as the “Unsolved Mysteries” episodes, with the premiere episode of the podcast recapping the case of Rey Rivera, whose body was mysteriously found inside the historic Belvedere Hotel in Mount Vernon.
