Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Make His Return To The Big Screen In The Action Thriller ‘Breakout’

Deadline has announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger will make his return to the big screen in the upcoming action thriller Breakout. The movie will be directed by Scott Waugh, and Arnie will play the lead character named Terry Reynolds.

“When his stepson, Daniel, is framed and sentenced to 25 years in a foreign country, Reynolds makes a daring jailbreak to save him and must overcome an overzealous prison warden in a race against time to avoid capture and flee the country,” reads the official logline for the film.

Production on the film is set to begin sometime later this year in Eastern Europe, from a screenplay written by Richard D’Ovidio.
