It was announced today that ‘I Am Legend 2’ is officially happening at Warner Bros., as Will Smith returns to star as Robert Neville alongside Michael B. Jordan in a new movie. This will mark the first time the actors have not only starred together but also produced together. Akiva Goldsman, who adapted the Richard Matheson’s 1954 novel for the original 2007 movie, will also be returning to write the second installment.
At this stage there is no word on who will take on the Director role or what the story will entail. We’ll bring you more info as it comes to light.
