Chloe x Halle have shared their take on Ray Charles’ classic ‘Georgia on My Mind’, from the 1960 album The Genius Hits the Road. The R&B sister duo recorded the cover for ESPN as part of their promotional campaign for this year’s Masters Tournament, which takes place in Georgia. Take a listen below.
“We are happy to be given the opportunity to record our version of the timeless ‘Georgia On My Mind’ for the Masters Tournament,” Chloe x Halle wrote on Instagram.
Earlier this month, Chloe x Halle unveiled a chrome edition of their sophomore LP Ungodly Hour, one of our favourite albums of last year, featuring two new bonus tracks, ’80/20′ and ‘Hazy’. Back in November, they shared a rendition of Zhané’s ‘Sending My Love’.
