Stimming, the renowned German music producer, released his latest 12-track album, Ludwig, yesterday. The album includes ‘Judith Maria’, ‘Circle of Thirds,’ and ‘Pidgeons’ featuring Balbina. ‘Pidgeons’ is a slow-moving, trip-hop piece that emerges through organic, natural elements that grow distorted in an electronic vacuum. It’s a track filled with unexpected tangents and intricate tensions, as well as being Ludwig’s only vocal song. Amongst other masterful pieces such as ‘Judith Maria,’ the album does well to maintain the prominent minimalistic and emotional style we have come to love from Stimming over the years.
