Sonic the Hedgehog stars Adam Pally and Tika Sumpter are officially joining Idris Elba in Paramount+‘s forthcoming Knuckles series. Pally and Sumpter will be reprising their roles as Wade Whipple and Maddie. The series is being filmed currently in London. Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, and Ellie Taylor have been cast for recurring roles.
The Knuckles series will feature Idris Elba returning to voice the Echidna. In the series Knuckles agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. It is expected to take place between the events of the sequel and the upcoming third installment.
