During Tudum in Brazil, Netflix made the Squid Game Season 2 announcement, and also a statement that confirms several returns. Returning actors in the Squid Game Season 2 cast are Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo. They’ll be joined by four newcomers: Yim Si-Wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Park Sung-Hoon, and Yang Dong-Geun.
Also Netflix premiered the first look at the upcoming series from Game of Thrones co-creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss called 3 Body Problem. It will release in January 2024.
“3 Body Problem is a new dramatic series inspired by the renowned and epic book trilogy, which tells the story of what happens when humanity discovers we are not alone in the universe,” reads the series’ logline.
