Amazon Studios has released the trailer for The Horror of Dolores Roach, staring Justina Machado as an ex-convict masseuse who finds herself becoming a serial killer. The series which is based on a podcast of the same name, will debut on Amazon Prime July 7.
“In the series, Dolores Roach (Machado) is released after an unjust 16-year prison sentence, and she returns to a gentrified Washington Heights,” reads the synopsis. “Dolores reunites with an old stoner friend, Luis (Hernandez), who lets her live and work as a masseuse in the basement under his empanada shop. When the promise of her newfound stability is quickly threatened, “Magic Hands” Dolores is driven to shocking extremes to survive.”
