The trailer for Based on a True Story, Peacock‘s forthcoming dark comedic thriller has been released. It is led by Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina as a married couple who strike for fame with a true-crime podcast. It will debut on June 8.
“The series is about a realtor, a former tennis star, and a plumber who seize a unique opportunity to capitalize on America’s obsession with true crime,” reads the logline.
