A pair of ‘Shining-like’ twins have claimed they were murdered in their previous lives – and that they have proof.
Indian twin boys Ram and Shesh Narain Diwediamoo believe that, in a past life, they were a pair of farmers named Bhimsen and Bhism Pitmah, who shared a plot of land.
They claimed that they had both been murdered by a man named Jagnnath over a land dispute.
The story goes that Jagnnath invited the farmers to his house, pretending he wanted to call a truce on their feud, but when he had their trust, he attacked and killed both of them before disposing of their bodies in a well.

Bhimsen and Bhism Pitamah were apparently last seen alive in April 1964. Twins Ram and Shesh were born four months later.
When word spread about the twin’s alleged memories from their past lives, they were visited by relatives of murdered farmers Bhimsen and Bhism Pitamah, as well as other villagers who would have known them. The twins recognised most of the people who came to see them.
In 1971, a reincarnation researcher named Dr Ian Stevenson came to investigate the paranormal case.

Dr Stevenson, who was a professor of psychiatry at the University of Virginia, conducted a full study on the twins, in which he He wrote: “During a first trip to India I learned the cases consisted of much more than a child’s claim to remember a previous life.
“The children also showed behaviour unusual in their families and that, in those cases in which the claims were verified, matched the behaviour of the deceased persons the children claimed to have been.
“My first journey to Asia therefore showed the need for more journeys.”
During Dr Stevenson’s investigation, twins Ram and Shesh were able make some chillingly accurate claims about their past lives, which were later verified by police records and Bhimsen and Bhism Pitamah’s family members.
For example; they knew they had a third brother named Chandra, and that they had each previously been married and welcomed their own sons.
They remembered specific rings and watches they had owned, as well as how many acres of land they had.
Perhaps their most unsettling memory, though, was being murdered by Jagannath, an important man from the neighbouring village of Kurri.
They were also able to correctly name two of the other men involved in their murder.
Dr Stevenson also noted that Ram and Shesh had strange birthmarks, unlike any he had ever seen in his studies before.
The birthmarks stretched horizontally across their torsos and abdomens, and were about two millimetres wide. The twins’ mum confirmed that they had had the marks since birth.

Dr Stevenson was almost certain that the unusual birthmarks corresponded perfectly to the injuries that Bhimsen and Bhism Pitamah would have endured during their murder.
Ram and Shesh were just 11 years old when Dr Stevenson conducted his study, and the twins have kept mostly to themselves since, so there’s almost no information about their adult lives.
