‘DOOM Eternal’ Expansion Receives Teaser Trailer During QuakeCon; Full Trailer Coming Later This Month

With this year’s QuakeCon taking place online, it only makes sense that DOOM Eternal’s upcoming expansion gets some attention in the form of a new trailer. During the QuakeCon at Home opening live stream, Bethesda Softworks and developer id Software released the teaser trailer for “The Ancient Gods, Part One”.

Not much info to go on with just 30 seconds, although the story for the expansion takes place after the events of the main game, where it appears that the Doomslayer has created a bit of a balancing issue regarding the powers of Heaven and Hell. The good news is that the full trailer for The Ancient Gods, Part One will premiere during Gamescom 2020’s opening night on August 27 at 11:00am PT / 2:00pm ET.

DOOM Eternal is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
