“The Simpsons”: “Treehouse of Horror XXXI” Will Now Premiere the Night After Halloween

The annual Halloween special of “The Simpsons” was supposed to air on FOX tonight, October 18, but we’ve learned at the last minute that “Treehouse of Horror XXXI” has been delayed.

Due to Game 7 of the NLCS, the episode will now air on November 1st.

Yes, the night *after* Halloween. Damn you, sports!

This year’s special parodies Toy Story, offers a frightening look at the 2020 election, and spoofs Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse by unleashing Homers from other dimensions.
