After a one-night stand, a successful married man finds himself entangled in a cunning police detective’s latest investigation.
The film has Michael Ealy playing Derrick, a successful sports agent whose life is turned upside down after a one-night stand with the mysterious Valerie (Hilary Swank). Following an attack at his home, he discovers that the detective looking into the incident is none other than Valerie – and it appears she has much more in store for him than a ‘don’t cheat’ warning.
Yes, it’s another Fatal Attraction-style thriller, directed by Deon Taylor, whose credits include action-thriller Black and Blue and Dennis Quaid-as-the-landlord-from-hell thriller The Intruder. The script comes from Passenger 57 and Money Train scribe David Loughery, who penned another Fatal Attraction-esque flick with 2009’s Beyoncé starrer Obsessed.
