Trevor Holley grew up in a little city 30 min north of Salt Lake City Utah being the youngest of 5 older brothers his oldest brother being 15 years older so I was introduced to a wide range of music from what my brothers listened to. The album was a multi genre Album consisting of hip hop, Rock, Rap, country, synth pop, new wave and gospel all on one album. His main focus at his age of 41 is country western but he’s also performing and collaborates with a variety of genres as well he has worked with the world-renowned vocal coach Dean Kaelin who has helped artist such as David Arculeta and many other artists rise to stardom. He has recorded in the studio with the Nashville music group the same studio Johnny cash has recorded his albums. What do you love about music, performing and public speaking?
The fact that Life can be very difficult at times inspires me to write about my life experiences, personal struggles, trials and to be able to create and poor my whole heart and soul into my music and to be able to have my songs inspire others and when people can relate to my music and what I am going through, gives me the greatest satisfaction, Joy and hope to keep on making good music for others to enjoy and also when it brings hope to others to keep on persevering and enduring brings happiness to me. It brings even more satisfaction and joy when others can come see me perform live and to be able to see how I sound and how I perform and with public speaking I like to evolve and have others in the crowd share their life experience and miracles and how they have overcome these challenges I’m a person who likes to see progression and help others find who they are we all learn something from each other I am directly related to the famous star Buddy Holly so For me music is in my blood it’s literally in my DNA its who I am as a person. music has literally saved my life when I’m going through a challenge or struggling and I’m able to listen to an Artist of my choice it gets those neurons firing up and it gives me a high and gives me hope to be able to endure what I’m going through, music has been the only thing that I have been able to do and truly love doing!
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Well first off I would have to say Buddy Holly is a true inspiration because I am directly related to him my last name being Holley. His name was actually spelled Holley, but he changed it to Holly when he got recognized. So, the fact that when I say music is in my blood and DNA, it literally is! It really is hard for me to say who my biggest music inspirations are because I have a wide range of genre’s that I love but to name a few, I would say Eminem, Tupac, Ice Cube for the hip hop, rap genre. For the Rock n roll genre I would say Green Day, Blink 182 and The Used. I would say Danny Elfman because he is a musical genius in my eyes. I love his work, especially in the movie The nightmare before Christmas and his band Oingo Boingo. For country western I would have to say Allen Jackson. My dream collaborators would be Imagine dragons I love the song titled: Evolve. BTS, Danny Elfman, Eminem, ice cube, blink 182, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Akon, T Graham Brown and many more
