Victoria Pedretti Headlines Hulu’s New Psychological Drama ‘Saint X’

Just announced Jayden Elijah of School’s Out Forever joins the lead cast of Hulu’s ‘Saint X’, joining Victoria Pedretti, Josh Bonzie and West Duchovny in the eight-part series from writer Leila Gerstein and director Dee Rees.

Based on Alexis Schaitkin’s novel, ‘Saint X’ explores how a young woman’s mysterious death creates a traumatic ripple effect that ultimately pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.

Leila Gerstein will write and executive produce the adaptation. Gerstein previously worked on the Hulu shows “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Looking for Alaska.” Pedretti will star as Emily, a sharp and ambitious woman whose carefully constructed, seemingly perfect life begins to crumble. Duchovny will play Alison, described as a smart and charismatic young woman who is beginning to look at her own privilege through a critical lens as she vacations with her family at a beautiful island resort. Elijah plays Edwin, a handsome and magnetically charming employee at the island’s resort who immediately captures Alison’s (Duchovny) attention.
