Teaser: From Euphoria Creator Sam Levison Comes The HBO Limited Series ‘The Idol’

HBO has released the first teaser for it’s upcoming limited series called ‘The Idol’, starring Grammy winner Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Lily-Rose Depp. It hails from Euphoria creator Sam Levison.

“Set against the backdrop of the music industry, the series centers on a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult, who develops a complicated relationship with an up-and-coming pop idol,” reads the official synopsis.

The limited series also stars, Troye Sivan, Hari Nef, Debby Ryan, Steve Zissis, Rachel Sennott and Jennie Kim of Blackpink, making her the first Korean idol to debut in an American series.
