With its eyes on a release next year, developer Aya Games has started the buzz for Ayasa: Shadows of Silence in the form of a new demo. Available now on Steam, the demo offers a sneak peek into Ayasa’s story, her unique powers, and atmospheric gameplay that blends puzzles, exploration, and tension-filled chases.
“With the demo, we wanted players to experience the tension, wonder, and ingenuity of Ayasa’s world,” says Edgar Janoyan, CEO of Aya Games. “It’s a glimpse into the journey ahead, and we can’t wait to see how players embrace the challenge and uncover the story.”
The story for Shadows of Silence centres around a place known as The Inverted World. What was once a harmonious place maintained by a being known as Tas, the Absolute, has now plunged into darkness, which threatens to engulf everything. Players take on the role of Ayasa, who must embark on a journey through the devastated lands of Faith, Hope, Love, Greed, Indifference, and Betrayal. Only by finding the remnants of Tas’s light can Ayasa hope to restore balance and save the world from complete destruction.
Regular updates are planned for the demo until the launch of Ayasa: Shadows of Silence, ensuring an evolving and polished experience for those eager to stay ahead of the darkness. Ayasa: Shadows of Silence will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
