A title, poster, and logo for A Simple Favor 2 have been revealed. The crime thriller movie stars Anna Kendrick as Stephanie Smothers and Blake Lively as Emily Nelson/Hope McLanden. The movie will hold its world premiere at the SXSW Film & Television Festival this coming March before it then comes to Prime Video in May.
“Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman,” the official synopsis reads. Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.”
The movie also stars Henry Golding, Allison Janney, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, and Alex Newell.
