FOUND TV, the global home for found footage movies, is entering the world of indie gaming with its first original “bite-sized-game” Tag! You’re Dead, available to wishlist now on Steam and releasing Summer 2025.
The addicting side-scrolling horror game is a bite-sized reimagining of the cursed video game featured in the FOUND fan-favorite film /demo_n, which premiered on the streaming platform in April. The game brings the film into players’ hands, following the same character, Gary, through a nightmarish version of his city overrun by demons. Fans of the film will instantly recognize the world from /demo_n, now reinterpreted as a playable experience.
Tag! You’re Dead is being developed by the FOUND Gaming team and led by Avery La Vella, a young, independent developer who has taken on the project with creative passion. Inspired by the original animations created by filmmaker Gary Francis Roche, the game marks the first step in FOUND’s expansion into indie gaming—a natural evolution of its commitment to supporting unique, independently created horror experiences.
“This demo doesn’t just serve as a companion piece to the film — it adds real value to the IP,” said Gary. “It’s a slice that hints at the full potential of what a complete version of the game could be, while staying true to its cinematic origins.”
Recently, the FOUND Original Games team attended the XP Game Summit in Toronto to build relationships with developers and publishers, with the goal of expanding into new game IP. This marks the beginning of a strategic push to grow FOUND’s presence in the gaming space and connect with creative voices in the industry.
