Lon Strickler is a Fortean researcher, author, and the publisher behind the long-running syndicated blog Phantoms and Monsters. Since launching the site in 2005, he has built a large and loyal readership of paranormal enthusiasts, investigators, and truth‑seekers. His work has been featured across hundreds of online media outlets, and many of his case reports have appeared on major television programs, including Ancient Aliens on The History Channel, Syfy’s Paranormal Witness, Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, and Destination America’s Monsters and Mysteries in America.

He has been interviewed on countless radio and online broadcasts, with multiple appearances on Coast to Coast AM. Lon was also spotlighted on Monsters and Mysteries in America for the episode covering “The Sykesville Monster.” In addition to his media presence, he has authored nine books and currently hosts Phantoms & Monsters Radio on YouTube.

Born and raised in south‑central Pennsylvania near the Gettysburg National Military Park, Lon spent four decades in the Baltimore, Maryland metro area before returning to his hometown in 2016.
