Jourdan Blue made a name for himself in Season 20 of America’s Got Talent in 2025. He earned a Golden Buzzer after his audition and finished the show in third place behind runner-up Chris Turner and winner Jessica Sanchez.
Prior to auditioning for the show, Jourdan was struggling to make ends meet for his girlfriend and their son as a street performer.AGT gave him an entire new platform to share his music (he was also previously on American Idol in 2022, and although he advanced a few rounds in the competition, his performances never aired).

Jourdan is pursuing his music career and most recently released a new single called “Why?” on May 2. Per his social media accounts, he appears to still be street performing in New Orleans, although his bio says he also splits his time in Los Angeles.
Why was Jourdan Blue arrested?
In March 2026, Jourdan was arrested on suspicion of DWI in Louisiana, TMZ confirmed. His arrest records also revealed he was booked for allegedly driving on a suspended license, careless operation, and open container in a motor vehicle.
People reported that Jourdan was released from custody after his arrest, but no further details have been confirmed.
Jourdan previously opened up about his addiction struggles and told People that he survived an accidental overdose when he was 18. “That moment put everything into perspective,” he said. Jourdan has not publicly commented on his 2026 arrest.
Who is Jourdan Blue’s girlfriend?
Jourdan’s girlfriend is Christina Capraro. They have been together for more than a decade and share a son Jax, who was born in 2024.
Per her Instagram bio, Christina is a fashion, beauty, and travel influencer, as well as a “fitness and adventure enthusiast.”
