Elizabeth Ertel – A Life Composed in Verses and Spotlight
Elizabeth Ertel stepped into the limelight at the tender age of five, launching her journey as a professionally trained vocalist and actress. With a voice shaped by classical training and a spirit nurtured by generations of entertainers, her artistic lineage stretches through her grandmother, father, mother, and the uncle who first kindled her passion—an international runway model and actor who opened her eyes to the vibrance of performance.
At sixteen, a devastating loss of her mother halted Elizabeth’s rising career, just as she was preparing to leave for London. She paused her artistic pursuit, embracing a sabbatical that would become a deeply reflective chapter.
But creativity never left her side. Elizabeth returned to the arts with renewed depth—gracing stages, sets, and studios with her signature authenticity. She expanded her impact through volunteer work with The Salvation Army, teaching healthy cooking and serving international programs before making her way back behind the camera and onto it. Her artistry blossomed into music for mental health awareness, including writing and performing the moving anthem “Broken Lavender.” She was cast as a more mature Marilyn Monroe in a powerful off-Broadway role, paused only by the emergence of COVID-19.
Collaborating with UK musician Ricky Humphrey of This Twisted Wreckage, Elizabeth co-wrote and starred in the haunting video “The Hunger in Me.” She also featured in “She Dances,” a poignant tribute to isolation during the pandemic, created alongside Luke Skyscraper James and Humphrey.
Her musical producer, Rob Steeves, has been a trusted partner in countless projects—producing her duet with Bo Hoss, “Ten Minutes Ago,” for the CD Broadway Maybes, and overseeing stunning visual storytelling across her performances.
Elizabeth joined forces with Rollin Jewett—singer, author, screenwriter, and model—for the duet “Summer Wine,” leading them to become finalists for Best Duo at the prestigious ISSA Awards in Georgia. Their latest collaboration, “Help Me Make It Through the Night,” honors the legendary Kris Kristofferson and drops this week.
Her modeling portfolio is equally breathtaking, featuring campaigns for Alexis Hunter Couture Jewelry (Palm Springs), Just Vida and Rogue Wear (Los Angeles and Las Vegas), and soon a jewelry line based in New York City. As Vida’s fragrance and fashion spokesperson, Elizabeth embodies sophistication and storytelling in every step.
In the coming year, Elizabeth takes the lead in a film set in Los Angeles, portraying a 50-year-old surfer navigating the waves of life, redemption, and self-discovery.
Her magnetic energy and insight led to an interview on “Lyons Radio Network: iHeartRadio” with Donna Lyons—garnering such acclaim that it birthed The Wow Show podcast, where Elizabeth now brings powerful conversations with creatives in arts and entertainment to life.
