Boarhog has been described as Friday the 13th reimagined for the Stranger Things generation, it delivers a fresh, pulse-pounding experience that blends nostalgic 80s slasher vibes with the emotional depth and character-driven storytelling today’s audiences crave.
Set against the backdrop of a middle-class area in the fictional town of Villemomble Boarhog is the story of Dr.Adam Brecknell (played by Reece Ryan) a well respected doctor who’s life spirals out of control, he sees a job offer that will change his fortunes but doesn’t realize the dangers of his new employer leading him to become The Boarhog.
Reece has already won a Best Actor award at Film Basement Horror Awards for his portrayal of The Boarhog and Dr.Adam Bracknell.
