Co-Op Zombie Shooter ‘No More Room in Hell 2’ Lumbers Onto Steam, Will See Early Access Release

Back in November, Lever Games had posted a new trailer for their upcoming Left 4 Dead-esque No More Room in Hell 2. The developers have now added a Steam page for the sequel, which will be headed to Steam Early Access upon release.

No release date has been announced for the game, though Lever Games plans to have NMRiH2 in Early Access for about a year before the game’s full release.

The initial release will have 8-player co-op across two large, non-linear maps. The first mape is based on New York City, while the second will have Romero fans going crazy, as it’s based on rural Pennsylvania. The maps will have randomized elements in each playthrough, including things such as “apartments, building interiors, locked doors, electrical power, barricades, and more.”

Lever Games plans to explore additional game modes, more weapons, gadgets, and abilities, as well as crafting and human NPCs like national guardsmen and survivalists during the title’s Early Access stay.

The story for NMRiH2 concerns the aftermath of the Kulon pandemic that occurred in the first game. The result has the dead rising up and craving human flesh. Chaos and death leave you and the remaining survivors in the most desperate fights of your lives, requiring you to scavenge and ultimately survive.
