Actor Denny Nolan has officially joined the cast of The Apex Predators Club, the upcoming horror-thriller written and directed by J. Horton. Nolan will portray Mikey, a powerful U.S. senator with a complicated past, caught in a deadly game far beyond politics.
The Apex Predators Club is set deep in the remote wilderness, where the ultra-rich gather to hunt monsters for sport. But when the hunt goes sideways and the creatures fight back, the hunters quickly become the hunted. With savage beasts closing in and no way out, survival is the only rule.
The film is slated to begin shooting this September in Shreveport, Louisiana, and features a large ensemble cast of killers, creatures, and everything in between.
Nolan brings a commanding presence to the role of Mikey — a man used to power, forced to confront a new kind of enemy. His casting adds another layer of intensity to a film already packed with sharp claws, sharp dialogue, and sharper stakes.
The Apex Predators Club is the latest feature from J. Horton, whose previous work includes A Hard Place, Craving, and a slate of genre hits known for their grit, energy, and practical effects-driven storytelling.
