Filming Has Resumed on “Stranger Things” Season 4!

It was back in March – that feels like a lifetime ago, doesn’t it? – that Netflix was forced to suspend production on the fourth season of “Stranger Things” due to the ongoing pandemic, and though we’re certainly not out of the woodwork yet, we’ve learned today via a Netflix tweet that production has officially resumed on the mega popular ’80s-set series.

“Stranger Things” was in the very early stages of filming when the production was halted back in March, so a whole lot still needs to be done before Season 4 is in the can.

It sounds like the team used the downtime to work on the scripts.

What we know of Season 4 thus far is that Hopper is still alive, “imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other.”

“Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything….”

“Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more,” the Duffer Brothers had said back in February of this year.
