Hundreds of reviews from two sources dedicated to the genre help fans discover films that fit their tastes
FoundFootage.com now features premium reviews from Found Footage Critic and Found Footage Horror, bringing the perspectives of two sources dedicated to reviewing found footage films into its discovery platform.
Found footage ranges from widely known releases to independent films that can be difficult to find. A synopsis and trailer offer a first look, but a review can give viewers a clearer sense of a film’s pacing, approach, and appeal. By bringing specialist reviews together with user-created reviews, FoundFootage.com gives fans more ways to decide what to watch next.
“High-quality reviews are an essential part of deciding which movies to watch,” said John Briggs, Founder of FoundFootage.com. “Found Footage Critic and Found Footage Horror bring deep knowledge of the genre, helping fans find movies that suit their tastes.”
“We’ve been reviewing found footage films since 2015, helping fans discover work they might otherwise miss,” said Michael McQuown, President and Co-Founder of PlayNowMedia. “We’re pleased that those reviews will now reach more fans through FoundFootage.com.”
Found Footage Horror Movies reviews both established films and newer releases, bringing an active perspective to a genre in which independent filmmakers regularly introduce new stories and approaches.
“We review found footage because every film offers something different, and finding the right one is part of the fun,” said a spokesperson for Found Footage Horror. “Putting our reviews alongside the films on FoundFootage.com helps fans discover titles they’ll want to watch.”
