Michael Joy, the prominent horror publicist and creator ofMarketing Macabre, is entering the high-stakes final week of theKickstarter campaignfor his feature film debut,DEAD afterlife. DEAD afterlifepresents a uniquely dark twist on the zombie subgenre. The story follows pharmaceutical scientist Donald Conlee, who is murdered and then inadvertently “saved” by his own experimental “Awake” super-drug. In a horrific predicament, Donald’s ghost is forced to watch his own funeral, only to witness his reanimated zombie body climb out of the coffin and begin attacking his grieving friends and family.
