Modders Import Yahoo! Answers Into ‘The Typing of The Dead: Overkill’ With Expected Results

It’s the end of an era for Yahoo! Answers. The internet’s demented version of “20 Questions” will be getting the axe later this year. But before that happens, a group of intrepid modders decided to do the “right thing”, and port over the best of Yahoo! Answers to Sega’s The Typing of The Dead: Overkill.

Called RIP Yahoo Answers, the mod essentially imports custom dictionaries into the game, which are rife with the inane questions that have graced Yahoo! Answers for over 15 years. But really, given the weird phrases you were already frantically typing out already in The Typing of The Dead: Overkill, it should be par for the course.

In case for whatever reason you’re unfamiliar with The Typing of The Dead series, it’s a spin-off of The House of The Dead series, where instead of shooting zombies with a lightgun, you’re typing them to death. It’s horrifically fun and educational, so you could pass it off as practising your word speed with your parents.

Big thanks to DreadXP for finding this.
