Things are getting wacky in the latest trailer for Devolver Digital’s upcoming Serious Sam 4. Well, wackier than what’s normal for the series. As the series has always prided itself on guns and more guns, the latest trailer has him visiting the Vatican of all places for some extra firepower.
Yep, instead of his usual arsenal, the latest footage has Sam employing the Popemobile, which itself is now a five-story mecha. Yep, that’s a thing. It’s a deviation from the usual “mowing down waves of enemies with a minigun”, so you can’t accuse the devs of being complacent.
