If God of War has you itching to take on more of the gods, publisher Deep Silver and developer Clever Beans look to have you covered with the Celtic mythology of Gods Will Fall. The game will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store on January 29, 2021.
The story goes that you’re the last hope for humanity. For a millennia, the gods have led a torturous rule over humanity, bent on cruelty and suffering. Those who don’t blindly follow the gods and their ruthless will face a slow and merciless death. You are a member of a band of warriors aiming to break the gods’ grip on humanity.
Players will be able to choose from eight different warrior types, each equipped with their own exclusive weapon type and skillset. Contrasting the lush overworld form where you start, each god has its own nightmarish realm, full of creatures in a world built from human suffering. Sounds like fun.
