Megan Moroneys Cloud 9 Features Kacey Musgraves, Ed Sheeran Cameos

Who better than two of Megan Moroney‘s heroes to feature on her third album? On Friday, the country queen unveiled the names of the 15 tracks featured on her upcoming album, Cloud 9, including a pair of collaborations with Kacey Musgraves and Ed Sheeran.

The singer shared the track list with a teaser video of herself — dressed in an all-pink pilot outfit — stepping off a plane named “C9MM3,” a reference to Cloud 9, her third album, before walking over to a bubblegum-pink Ford truck and looking up at the sky, where the track titles were written in the clouds.

Sheeran appears on Track 8, “I Only Miss You,” after performing with Moroney at one-off shows several times over the past year. And Musgraves, whom Moroney once picked for her high-school yearbook quote, joins her on Track 11, “Bells & Whistles.”

The Feb. 20 album features songs titled “Liar & Tigers & Bears,” “Wedding Dress,” Wish I Didn’t,” and “Waiting on the Rain.” It also includes singles “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things.”

“Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been,” Moroney previously said in a statement about the album. “My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry, and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love.”

She added, “Cloud 9is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”

Moroney will celebrate the album with an arena run starting May 29, stopping by cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, Orlando, Portland, Los Angeles, Dallas, and a closing U.S. show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 21.
