La Cancionera Personified

Image Credit: Maria-Juliana Rojas for Rolling Stone The performance was highly intimate. “In this concert, I wanted to visit the Cancionera’s room — the one I inhabited during my childhood, my adolescence, and my youth; through the times I became a woman and now, as I become a mother,” Lafourcade says.

Mezcal de las Flores

Serenading BAM Theater

‘Ya No Vivo Por Vivir’

Image Credit: Maria-Juliana Rojas for Rolling Stone “I want to invite the audience to kindle their hearts and their imaginations as I dwell within each of the songs. For me, it was essential to give the words their rightful place, letting them paint different landscapes and leading people by the hand toward an encounter with their own inner universes and gardens.”

Bringing Mexico to New York

‘Lo Que Construimos’

A Night of Connection

Image Credit: Maria-Juliana Rojas for Rolling Stone “My greatest desire is for people to find a space of silence, joy, reflection, love, and unity within these concerts,” Lafourcade says. “Music has the profound power to unite us, to erase borders, to build empathy, and to create encounters.”

An Artist in Motion

Image Credit: Maria-Juliana Rojas for Rolling Stone “The process has felt like play, like returning to childhood. For me, the most important thing is always to enjoy the journey as much as the result.”
-
Para Las Mamas

Image Credit: Maria-Juliana Rojas for Rolling Stone “I love knowing that, at the same time I am embracing something as important and transformative as motherhood, I can simultaneously embrace the joy of creating music and sharing it with many people in many places.”

A Beautiful Life
