Riley Green Goes 50 Shades of Country in ‘Worst Way’ Video

The video is revealing, sultry, and just nearly NSFW

If you’re feeling particularly single this Valentine’s Day, you might want to steer clear of Riley Green‘s music video for his single, “Worst Way.” His 50 Shades of Country act — with its broken walls and tabletop antics — isn’t for the touch-starved or faint of heart.

“That your skin on my skin/Feels just like heaven to me/You look like an angel tonight/But you might wanna slip off those wings,” Green sings on the record as his love interest climbs on top of the table in the middle of a restaurant. A few onlookers seem horrified, while their own partners look on slightly envious. And someone’s grandmother is sitting alone at the bar having flashbacks to her own wild and free days.

“Worst Way” was originally released in March 2024 ahead of Green’s third studio album, Don’t Mind If I Do, which arrived in October. Earlier this week, Kelly Clarkson took the record for a spin during the Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

“When I wrote ‘Worst Way’ that was in [the vein of Eric Church’s ‘Wrecking Ball’]. And I had a vision of just songs that give me that type of feeling over the years, ‘Slow Dancing in a Burning Room,’ John Mayer, that vibe, something about that was so cool and to make it country and to make it my own,” Green told Apple Music Country last year.

Green recently made a more censored appearance at the 2024 CMA Awards, where he performed “You Look Like You Love Me” with Ella Langley.
