If Taylor Swift hasn’t taken over the world, after the release of the new album she’ll be very close. THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT is Taylor Swift’s eleventh studio album, following 2022’s extremely successful Midnights. She announced the album during 2024 GRAMMY’s, and now it’s finally arrived.
Much to the surprise of all Swifty’s, the new record was released in two parts, and is now a double album featuring which included 15 new songs to the previously announced 16. Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, two of Swift’s frequent songwriting and producing collaborators, are credited as co-writers on a number of songs throughout the album.
According to Spotify, the album yesterday became the most pre-saved album in the music streaming platform’s history.
