Agriculture singer/bassist Leah B. Levinson has shared a new track under the name Cali Bellow. ‘LFG!!!! (i just died)’ is the second offering from her fifth LP Ciao Bella, which arrives October 25 via Fiadh Productions. Give it a listen below.
“Lyrically, the second verse was inspired by a trip to Long Beach with some friends to celebrate my partner’s birthday,” Levinson explained in a statement. “I stood on a tall cliff overlooking the ocean with my longtime friend Pluto Bell. We barely spoke, but I quickly became overwhelmed with emotion and began to cry, which caused them to start crying too. The vastness of the ocean, the closeness of my friend, and my awareness of my own mortality and smallness in the grand scheme of things all hit me at once.”
