For the new album, which arrives next Friday via Storm Chasers Ltd, Jones recorded vocals in Orlando before Beck and Weiss “re-imagined,” arranged, and produced the material in Chicago. “It’s much more casual than what I was used to. It was a very trusting environment without deadlines or pressure,” Jones said in a statement. “Truthfully, I feel it’s afforded me more space to write with intentionality and purpose. This process has given way to more freedom, curation, and frankly, joy.”
