‘Nicodemus’ Allegedly the First Ever Horror Film NFT [Trailer]

While Kevin Smith aims to release his horror film Killroy Was Here as an NFT (non-fungible token), writer-director Norith Soth‘s religious-horror Nicodemus is allegedly not only the first horror film NFT, but also the first ever motion picture NFT. So exclaims the film’s press release.

In the vein of The Rapture with a Don’t Look Now feel…

“A young Christian is so devoted to God, he seeks to uncover the truth about Jesus. This boy faces a reality beyond his wildest imagination when he discovers that The Bible is predominantly filled with stories of alien visitations – further, he realizes that a new invasion is about to occur.”

The film was co-written by Mikal Britt and stars Malcolm Ridley in the lead role.

Nicodemus, shot in 2011 and painstakingly edited for three years but never released, will be auctioned on OpenSea starting May 6th and ending May 16th.
