Shot in Sydney, Australia, Netflix and creator Charlotte Stoudt delivers the new crime thriller series ‘Pieces of Her’ based on the New York Time’s bestselling novel written by Karin Slaughter. From the producers of Big Little Lies and The Undoing, the series stars Toni Collette, Bella Heathcote, Joe Dempsie and Jessica Barden.
Set in a sleepy Georgia town, ‘Pieces of Her’ follows 30-year-old Andy Oliver (Heathcote) and her mother Laura (Collette) and their relationship after a mass shooting years ago. When her past comes back to haunt her, Andy is forced to look back on the events that occurred, bringing the relationship with her mother into question. As she begins to piece together remnants of her mother’s truth, will she find any answers?
The series is directed completely by Minkie Spiro, known for her work on various television shows including ‘The Plot Against America’ (2020), ‘Fosses/Verdon’ (2019) and ‘Dead to Me’ (2019).
‘Pieces of Her’ is available to stream March 4th 2022, only on Netflix.
